The Security Police Union Built to Represent Casino Security Professionals
The International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) has a long and successful history of representing Casino Security Professionals across the United States through our specialized Casino Hotel Industry Police (CHIP) Division.
SPFPA is uniquely positioned as a Security Police union organized under Section 9(b)(3) of the National Labor Relations Act, giving security professionals the specialized representation their work demands.
Casino Security Is Not Ordinary Security
Casino Security Professionals work in a highly regulated, high-responsibility environment. Depending on their jurisdiction and position, officers may be required to meet licensing, background, training, and regulatory standards established by state gaming authorities.
Every day, these professionals are entrusted with protecting:

The SPFPA casino family has included officers at properties such as MotorCity Casino Hotel, MGM Grand Detroit, Hollywood Casino at Greektown, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, Horseshoe properties, Hollywood Casino properties, and casino operations in Laughlin and other gaming markets.
