On Friday, September 13, 2024, the Officers at Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio, voted unanimously to join our SPFPA Family.
After years of going it alone, with no power to change their wages, benefits, or working conditions, they made the right call and contacted SPFPA. The card campaign received total support and the petition was filed in record time with the NLRB.
To ensure the specific questions related to their industry were answered during our Zoom meeting, the organizing department relied on the expertise of Region 2 Vice President J.B. Smith and Director Devin Snowden, who shared with the Centrus Officers their experience with servicing and negotiating top contracts for our nuclear and power station members.
