GREAT NEWS! I am proud to announce, stated President Hickey, that on April 17, 2013, approximately 2,000 officers from the United Union of Security Guards (UUSG) affiliated/merged with our Union, SPFPA. I have been personally working with UUSG President, Brother Emmanuel, over the last few months to complete this historic merger. We have great plans for the future as we work together building our membership on the East Coast. Welcome aboard. We are proud to have you as part of the SPFPA family.
I want to personally congratulate our newly revamped SPFPA Organizing Department, Staff and our Local members who have participated in making the last two months the most successful growth period in the history of our Union. With their “TEAM” efforts, our ranks have grown over 3,000 members in this short period. Great job, everyone!
